After patient's arrives, the following arrangements are made:
• Excellent services of Interpreters. Official language of the hospital is English.
• Introduction on the arrival at Sharif Medical City Hospital .
• Ensuite private rooms + all Meals and mineral water provided.
• Complete medical examination
• All pre-operative investigations arranged, medical treatment and maintenance of dialysis continued.
• Patient examined by all relevant consultants for initiation of Transplant work up
• The potential recipient and donor undergo extensive investigations of international standard of clinical care.
• Informed consents in writing obtained
• Once Tissue Typing and Cross Match results available, the donor undergoes complete clinical, laboratory and radiological investigations before the suitability for kidney donation is established.
• Post Transplant Care
• Recipient and donor shifted to ICU for close monitoring and management.
• Recipient shifted to room after within few days.
• Recipient undergoes regular laboratory tests, radiological investigations and closely monitored by Nephrologists and Surgical team
• Once discharged from the hospital, the patient is provided with detailed discharge summary, list of medications and photocopies of important investigations
